Minneapolis Public Schools has 16 individually negotiated Collective Bargaining Agreements. The contracts are available to all employees and the public in PDF (portable document format) version and/or print PDF files. You must have PDF viewer software such as Acrobat Reader.

  •  American Federation of State, County & Municipal Employees Local No. 56, Council 14 (7/01/10 - 6/30/13).  This unit is comprised of clerical and office employees, technical employees such as information technology assistants, network engineers, health service assistants, and licensed practical nurses. There are approximately 400 members in this unit.  The unit also consists of Student Support Specialists who work directly with students at schools and special sites to provide direct support service to students, instructional staff and parents. There are approximately 20 members in this unit.
     
  • International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers: District Lodge No. 77 (7/01/2008 - 6/30/2010) This unit is comprised of machinists and instrument repairmen. There are approximately 5 members.
     
  • International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers: AFL-CIO Local No. 292 (5/01/08 - 6/30/11) This unit is comprised of electricians, electronic technicians and telecommunications personnel. There are approximately 25 members in this unit.

  • Minneapolis Building Trades Council: (5/01/2008 - 6/30/2011) This unit is comprised of carpenters, painters, carpenters, pipe fitters and sheet metal workers. This unit provides maintenance service to our district. There are approximately 65 members in this unit.

  • Minneapolis Association of Administrators and Consultants: (7/01/07 - 6/30/09)  This unit is comprised of district administrators who required to be licensed and work in various capacities throughout the district. There are approximately 90 members in this unit.

  • Minneapolis Association of Confidential Administrators: (7/01/10 - 6/30/12) This unit is comprised of district administrators and related personnel that work with confidential information and confidential issues at the Educational Service Center. There are approximately 65 members in this unit.

  • Minneapolis Federation of Educational Assistants: Local No. 59 (7/01/09 - 6/30/11) This unit is comprised of educational assistants, special education assistants, associate educators, bilingual program assistants and child care assistants who provide direct support service to students, instructional staff and parents in our learning community.      There are approximately 1,430 members in this unit.
     
  • Minneapolis Federation of Teachers: Local No. 59 (7/01/09 -  6/30/11) This unit is comprised of licensed teachers, nurses, social workers and speech pathologists who provide direct instruction and services to students in our K12 programs. There are approximately 4,800 members in this unit.
     
  • Minneapolis Federation of Teachers - ABE: Local No. 59 (7/01/07 - 6/30/09) This unit is comprised of licensed teachers, nurses, social workers and speech pathologists who provide direct instruction and services to students in our Adult Basic Education and Community Education Programs. There are approximately 55 members in this unit.
     
  • Minneapolis Principals Forum: (7/01/09 -  6/30/12) This unit is comprised of licensed elementary, middle school and high school assistant principals and principals. There are approximately 110 employees in this unit.

  • Minneapolis Public Schools Administrative Supervisory Personnel: (7/01/07 - 6/30/09) This unit is comprised of district administrators that are not required to be licensed and who work in supervisory capacities throughout the district. There are approximately 60 members in this unit.

  • Minnesota Teamsters Public and Law Enforcement Employees: Drivers, Local No. 320 (7/01/09 - 6/30/11) This unit is comprised of bus drivers, dispatchers and mechanics who provide transportation and related services to the district. There are approximately 250 members in this unit.

  • Minnesota Teamsters Public and Law Enforcement Employees:Grounds, Local No. 320 (7/01/07 - 6/30/09) This unit is comprised of grounds workers, stock workers and related personnel who provide grounds, maintenance and supplies to the district. There are approximately 10 members in this unit.
     
  • Service Employees International Union: Local No. 63 (7/01/07 - 6/30/09) This unit is comprised of janitor engineers, plant instructors and bus attendants who provide janitorial and related services to the district. There are approximately 380 members in this unit.
     
  • Service Employees International Union: Local No. 284 (7/01/09 - 6/30/11) This unit is comprised of food service assistants, food service coordinators, food service managers and equipment technicians who provide food service services to the district. There are approximately 230 members in this unit.
